Description
Monadology is a philosophical work by Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, first published in 1714. In this work, Leibniz describes his metaphysical system, where the fundamental units of the universe are monads. Monads are simple, immaterial, spiritual substances that constitute reality. Each monad is unique and contains its own internal state, which determines its relationship with other monads and the entire universe.
